Anne Frank’s Complete Writings to Be Published in 2019
Bloomsbury Continuum will publish Anne Frank: The Collected Works in May 2019. The release will mark what would have been the year of Frank’s 90th birthday.
The Bookseller reports that the collection will include the diarist’s complete writings, along with significant photographs and documents that tell the wider story of her life. Frank’s world-famous diary will be published in two formats, the version edited for publication by her father and the more revealing original. It will even include two recently uncovered pages that have yet to be published.

“For the first time readers also have access to Anne’s unpublished letters, her personal reminiscences, daydreams, essays and notebook of favorite quotes all in one place,” Bloomsbury said in a statement.
Bloomsbury editor Jamie Birkett added, “...this collection will be essential for anyone who has read and loved her diary as well as those who study the Second World War and the Holocaust. It’s a fitting tribute to a short life and a disproportionally large body of work, one that has resonated with so many people since the diary was first published in the Netherlands in 1947.”
Other pieces in the collection include essays on Frank’s life, family, and the publication history of her diary.
